So the news has come out that Satoru Iwata, Global President of Nintendo, has passed away at the age of 55.

It's awful that he passed away. It really is. But, instead of feeling sad that he's gone, we should be happy that he was able to leave such an amazing legacy behind before he left us. I mean, this man pretty much made my childhood. Almost all of my early gaming memories were Nintendo games. This man helped create such amazing games that affected us all differently.
